About Us

From Care to Calling

My name is Caitlin — the founder of Nurture & Knowledge.

I’m an early childhood professional with experience in Montessori preschool classrooms and in-home nannying, supported by studies in education, psychology, and speech and language development. Working closely with young families over the years has shown me how powerful relationship-based care can be in the early years.

This work grew from my belief that learning unfolds most naturally when children are met right where they are — home.

Supporting a child from infancy into toddlerhood this past year shaped so much of this vision. Watching his growth — and feeling how mutual that joy was — revealed how deeply consistency, attachment, and attuned interactions influence a child’s experiences and emerging sense of self. It reminded me how valuable a nurturing and knowledgeable presence can be for many first-time families as they navigate new territory.

Nurture & Knowledge bridges the gap between traditional childcare settings and personalized in-home care, offering the warmth and depth of home while supporting development across all areas. I want to uplift nannies as early childhood educators and create meaningful matches for families who value informed, intentional care during the years that matter most — when 90% of the brain is formed and pathways begin shaping how children move through the world.

This agency is the natural next step in everything I’ve learned and witnessed — and I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re exploring care options or hoping to step into a role that reflects your value, I’d love to connect.

Our Philosophy

We believe:

Learning unfolds most naturally within daily routines
Secure attachment is the foundation for healthy development
First-time parents deserve guidance, not guesswork
Educated caregivers should be respected and valued
Developmental support can be warm, calm, and integrated into real life

Why This Agency Exists

Families often want the personalization of in-home care along with confidence that their child’s development is being thoughtfully supported.

Caregivers often want roles where their education and insight are recognized, not treated as optional or secondary.

Nurture & Knowledge exists to bridge that gap.

Our mission is to elevate caregivers as early childhood professionals while providing families with informed, nurturing support during the years that shape a child’s foundation for life.
